Arabia's Wildlife Centre

Believed to house the largest collection of Arabian animals across the entire world, visitors will see the animals here in a climate-controlled environment and get information about them via text and recordings.

• Reptile & Insect House: Guests can meet various native Arabian species such as Arabian Cobra, Saw-scaled vipers, and a number of lizards, amphibians, and insects.
• Aviary: This massive aviary houses birds from mountain, desert, and aquatic environments. You can expect to see native species like weavers, partridges, and Houbara Bustards.  The path also leads you into a cave where you can see Egyptian fruit bats and Omani blind cave fish.
• Nocturnal House: The day/night cycle here has been adjusted to ensure that you can meet nocturnal species like mongoose, foxes, and genet, along with a number of other rodents.
• Cafeteria & Viewing Area: As you enjoy a bite at the restaurant, you can also get a great view of other indigenous species such as the Arabian Oryx, gazelle, Nubian Ibex, and Greater Flamingo.
• Large Carnivores & Primates: Meet Hamadryas Baboons, Cheetah, Arabian Wolf, Striped Hyena, and the Arabian Leopard in their natural environment.

Natural History & Botanical Museum

The Natural History & Botanical Museum gives visitors an insight into the evolution of flora and fauna of the Arabian peninsula.

• A  Journey Through Sharjah: Discover numerous habitats with taxidermied local animals on display. You will also get to see graphic displays that inform you about the desert flora & fauna of Sharjah vs. those in a temperate climate.
• Desert Life: Meet various desert organisms — both nocturnal and diurnal, along with a model of a camel. Look out for aerial pictures showing the development of Sharjah from 1935 to 1994.
• A Journey through Time: This geological section shows the evolution of life on earth. Look out for a real meteor, the oldest rock in the world, raindrop fossils, and a real fossil thighbone of a dinosaur.
• The Living World: Check out the scientifically accurate classification of living organisms, both visual and microscopic, and learn about their advantages & disadvantages on the environment and human life.
• The Living Sea: Meet replicas of sea creatures that reside in the bottom of the ocean.
• Sharjah Botanical Museum: The first of its kind in the region, the botanical museum opened in 2008. It shows the timeline of plant life and their evolution and adaptation in becoming an essential part of our planet.

Islamic Botanical Garden

The Islamic Garden is extremely unique in the sense that the entire garden features only plants and other flora mentioned in the Holy Quran and Al Sunnah. Visitors can expect to see plants such as figs, lemons, henna, pumpkin, black cumin, pomegranate /s, and others. The botanical garden is the first of its kind in the Middle East.

Children's Farm

The Children's Farm aims to encourage young ones to learn about the diversity of animals and the balance between man and nature. It has two sections — outdoor and indoor. In the indoor section, children can read books or watch documentaries, and participate in various programs. In the outdoor section, they can meet and feed domestic animals like horses, goats, etc.
